Who is Tacotios?

This is me. Here everyone knows me as "the uncle", and it's better that it stays that way, because my mom condemned me to be called Aniol. I tell you that 2 out of 3 change my name to Aníbal or Anuel, and the 1 who doesn’t asks me: "What did you say your name was?".

Besides an "original" name, I have a dream that I will tell you about later.

But first, I have to tell you that I can’t come here saying "my life mission is to transform your business" with my 3 master's degrees in digital marketing and 200 years of experience in the sector. Not forgetting my values: to make spring cry. I can’t. I don't see it as serious.

The truth is that I am a very normal "uncle" who had never spoken in front of a camera until the end of 2022. I studied Sports and I like to eat. A lot.

What do I do?
As I used to tell my ex when I asked for explanations: it’s complicated. Changing the world and making spring cry is something I have considered, I’m not going to lie.

Why am I telling you this?
Because as I told you, I have a dream.

It makes me a bit sad to say it in public, but my dream is to know the purest depths of all Mexican food... to shout to the four winds how wonderful this cuisine is and to get paid for it. Many people have joined in dreaming with me, and the truth is that sometimes it’s a bit uncomfortable. It’s my dream, you know?

But well, I’m not complaining. I guess you’ve already seen the video of how all this started. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend that you watch it before continuing. I’m not forcing you, I’m just recommending it.


So, if you’ve seen it, you will understand that I am fulfilling my damn dream. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain, as if spring started to cry, you know?

Anyway, why am I telling you all this?
Because at the beginning of 2023 I started documenting my experiences in restaurants, and now I feel very grateful to be able to live from it and to help the workers behind what may seem like a simple dish.

I don’t want to be an influencer, in fact, I hate being called that. I just want to keep discovering, learning about, and recommending to the thousands of dreamers whose life engine is food, how much this beautiful country called Mexico has to offer.

Those who understand that life is what happens between meals. As for the others, I don’t trust them.

And I’ll wrap up. They say that in this section, you should talk about the problem you solve. And connect. Well, fine. Then I should tell you that with me you will sell more. That a good influencer, a real one, changes the life of any business. But I should do it subtly, without giving myself importance. I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to sell you anything. Because selling is terrible and scares everyone away.

The spotlight should be on the reader, that is, on you. So, I have to take you to nirvana. Hypnotize you. Persuade you.

Then I should tell you a personal story of overcoming with which you empathize, so that you connect with me and trust me. One time I got so spicy that when I went to the bathroom... well, you know. If you know what I’m talking about, we’ve connected. By this point, you should be trusting me a lot. Or you should be.

And finally, I need to include a call to action. That I get hired to do promotion, a digital marketing consultancy, or whatever. Reading is free and food doesn’t pay for itself.

And to recommend good restaurants to my 4 trillion followers. I’ve been doing it since I can remember with my friends. I’m good at it. Very good.
